So you may have noticed, if you're inclined to care, that I haven't been commenting around for about a week. RL stuff has kind of sapped my creative energy, so while I'm derping around on IRC, that's... really about all I'm capable of doing for now. So if you want one of my characters for a thread or something, you should absolutely feel free to ping me about it, but my braindeadness lately means I make no promises!
HOPEFULLY THIS PASSES SOON. :( ♥

Generally speaking, when (desire to app someone new) + (boredom with current character) > guilt, a character gets dropped. But to elaborate:
Ema is odd in that she's the character who has the least meaningful connections here, but is also the one that I'm least likely to drop. She takes little to no effort to get into her mental state (I'm... not sure what that says about me), has the most frequently amusing threads, and is just generally the easiest for me to get out. She could definitely survive the dropping of absolutely all of her castmates and... any of her important relationships in camp without becoming unplayable. On the other hand, I wouldn't feel guilty at all about dropping her, buuuut I have absolutely no desire to do it. She's here until exactly the moment I get bored of playing her!
Keiko was on the edge of being dropped for a really really long time, but now I'm in a pretty good place with her! I'd never really had a character who I considered a backburner before, so it took a while to adjust to that, but I actually really enjoy playing her when I get her out. She's here for the long haul. /o/
Zuko was apped on a sort of whim, but I absolutely can't fathom dropping him. He's the one I worry most about being IC with, and who I flail about the most, but also every time I worry that I'm being too dorky canon goes and out-dorks me so it's okay. Anyway, I love playing the adorably whiny socially-awkward short-tempered dweeb, he has a huge awesome cast now, and I think if I had to drop all but one of my characters right now he'd be the one that stays.
Saionji I'm having all kinds of fun with and is one of my favorite characters from one of my favorite series ever, but the short easy answer is that he will be in camp exactly as long as Touga is.
Kururu I just got so I have absolutely no idea, but it's the double-app with
tinaeu that I've always wanted. SO HOPEFULLY WE CAN BE SUPER-RETARDED FOREVER.

Because Ema is the worst gift-giver ever.
Lana: A snow globe with one poodle sitting on another poodle's head. The base reads "World's BestGrandma Sister".
Shinn: The tackiest scarf she could find at the store. It's made of mixed red, green, yellow, orange, and pink yarn and customized with strings of tinsel strung through it it and pom-poms sewn on and "happy Kwanzaa" written in in magenta glitter glue.
Phoenix: A pigeon plushie and a can of cocktail olives.
Edgeworth: She stole one of your cravats and sewed pink sequins into it to spell out your initials. :Db
Gumshoe: A pack of gummy bears and an I♥NY hat.
Il Palazzo: Coconut-scented shampoo, a six-month-old TV Guide, and a fuzzy blue hair clip.
the ACROSS girls: each get a cupcake with their codename written on in blotchy pink icing and a candle in the middle of each for no particular reason.
Mia: A used "Best of Carrot Top" VHS tape.
Maya: A toy lobster that sings various Elvis songs when you push the button on its tail.
Kodachi: A box of various refrigerator magnets and a pair of (cheap but cute) red dangly earrings.
Kuno: A stuffed octopus, three servings of instant ramen, and a package of those little tiny multicolored plastic swords they put through the cherries in drinks in really tacky restauraunts.
Aerrow: A horribly amateurish drawing of Aerrow with flowing bishounen locks and sparkles, a pack of Skittles, and a coupon for one free not-getting-lasered.

I'll be leaving the warm comforting embrace of the PWNers to leave for Saipan at 9AM Sunday, which means approximately 24 hours straight spent in airports and on planes. MY LIFE IS AWESOME. After which I assume I'll want to pass out for a nice, long stretch of time.
So, unless I can steal some wireless during one of my two-hour layovers, this is an official hiatus until at least mid-Monday.
This doesn't really necessitate a CFO post, but I just wanted to make sure no one thought I was dead. That's always awkward.

Because I'm bored and masochistic (do I EVER finish these?) have a combination relationship/essay/question meme for Ema/Keiko/Zuko/Saionji! Which can also function as any of those other memes that have been going around lately. In short, HAVE A QUESTION? ASK IT HERE!
This officially doubles as a two-parter for anyone who answers, in which, on a scale of one to ten, you receive answers to such pressing questions as:
a) how much does Ema like your hair?
b) how much does Saionji want to bitchslap you?
It's like a hot or not meme, but useless in every way. Never met either of them? IT PROBABLY DOESN'T MATTER.
PS if you answer, tell me who you play, because, come on, I can only remember who I play on good days.

This meme is fantastic because I get to look at how awesome my icons are... all in one place! :D
( Wow, I'm glad I only have four characters for this one. )

I've... already half-forgotten what I wrote down in my comment, so if I was horribly vague or unhelpful or you have no idea what my requests mean or you want anything clarified, feel free to ask here! ♥♥♥
I'll see about putting up another list here in the next day or so, too, if that'll help~ ♥
Okay, so, to specify a little more... I love all my camp canons, and here's things I'd specifically enjoy from those!
Phoenix Wright: I really, really, really love the Case 5 cast, and anything with them would be fabulous. I also adore almost anything with Franziska. Franziska-and-Ema interaction would be especially wonderful.
Yuu Yuu Hakusho: Yuusuke/Keiko, clearly. Kuwabara's actually my favorite character, haha, so there's that... I also love Botan and Koenma and Botan/Koenma and... really anything goes as far as YYH. Loev. ♥
Avatar: Evil Breakfast Club interaction of any kind would be amazing, as would things involving Zuko and Iroh. Or Zuko being horribly abused by the Gaang as I'm sure he will in canon. Pairings-wise, I love Mai/Zuko best of all, but Jet/Zuko is also quite awesome. As is anything involving a) the hippies, b) the Freedom Fighters, or c) Zhao. The Gaang is fine too. I-- I just love Avatar, guys. ♥
Utena: Clearly I love Touga/Saionji. A lot. And anything involving the Student Council, really, especially Nanami. Nanami+Touga+Saionji interaction would be quite wonderful. I enjoy Juri/Miki a lot too. And anything involving Akio. Or the Akiocar.
Other canons I love... o gosh let's see, I do love a lot of things. One Piece is my biggest fandom ever, despite me not playing from it at all, and I love Usopp like I'm blind. ALTERNATELY, other canons I would be happy to recieve things for include Evangelion, Princess Tutu, Keroro Gunso, Trigun, Discworld, Excel Saga, Hellboy, Death Note, Ranma 1/2, Escaflowne, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... is that a good enough list? I think that's a good enough list.
I love fic, art, noodle sculptures, fic recs (though I'm the sort of person to continue digging for fic until I've exhausted the entire supply of things I want to read), fanart links (though see above, but to a slightly lesser degree)... anything and everything you can come up with! ♥
Further questions? ASK AWAY /o/

Character: Ema Skye
Series: Phoenix Wright
Character Age: 16
Canon: By now, most people reading this will be familiar with what is commonly known as “that gay lawyer game,” but for those who aren't, the premise of the series goes something like this: Phoenix Wright is an up-and-coming defense attorney with pointy hair, lots of subtext with prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, and a habit of picking up adorable underage female sidekicks who top him. The second of these sidekicks is Ema Skye, a spunky, optimistic high school girl with a passion for science and a dream of becoming a forensic investigator. Unfortunately, she isn't very good at it yet, and most of her attempts at “scientific investigation” only succeed in further confusing Phoenix. At least what she lacks in knowledge, talent, or common sense, she makes up for in enthusiasm.
Sample Post:
What could be better than fresh air, new experiences, and the promise of new and exciting knowledge? Only one thing that I can think of! Fresh air, new experiences, and the promise of new and exciting knowledge... at summer camp! I've only been here a few hours, and I'm already having an amazing learning adventure! This is really going to broaden my horizons, I can tell.
There's one thing bugging me, though! We shouldn't be treating the zombies like something to be feared. I mean, they're here to learn too! Can't you hear them calling out for brains? Don't you admire their pursuit of knowledge, even after death? I know I do! I bet if we just knew a little more about the zombies, they wouldn't seem so scary at all! With that in mind, I think we should investigate them... with science!
For example, what do we know about where do zombies come from?
If you think about it scientifically, there's only one logical conclusion! Zombies might look like people, but they're really a highly advanced species of carnivorous plant! This is a real breakthrough! I bet it's the chlorophyll that makes them so lively – and it's obviously responsible for their lovely green color!
You know, this reminds me of a science fair experiment I did once. If two potatoes could power a clock, just think of what zombie power could do for humanity!

- They start out underground.
- Under the right conditions (warm, damp nutrient-rich soil) they undergo a beautiful transformation!
- They emerge from the ground, green and full of life!
